The Green Camp Gallery Project

A community based oasis in the middle of Durban city. A melting pot of cultures focusing on integration.
Welcome to step in to a derelicted church and house that have been transformed to an urban farm and art gallery. A strong and diverse grassroot movement from all around the world - sharing the passion of sustainable living - has come together to recycle materials and build a place where people meet to farm, meditate, dance, chat by the fire, have a smoothie, make music, play or just be. Every month there are many exciting and creative activities happening - like concerts, yoga, pop up café, discussion groups, second hand shop, medicinal garden workshop, ecotherapy, cooking lessons, seed swap etc. See our Facebook page for current events. You can camp at the site and we also have a more longterm artist residence programme.

An urban and organic farm where we experiment with architecture, arts and plants. We spread awarness about food freedom and food sovereignity. Come and learn about urban farming and how we can recycle and rehabilitate the world into a greener place

Products available are seasonal harvest from the garden, smoothies and coffee/tea, art, second hand and vintage shop.

Services available include camping, urban farming workshops, art studios, meditation lessons, café, second hand and vintage shop.
