Assagay Coffee Farm

Situated just off the N3 halfway between Pietermaritzburg and Durban in the beautiful countryside of the Harrison Valley, Assagay Coffee Farm welcomes visitors to tour the plantation and learn more about coffee farming and manufacturing.

100% PURE ARABICA COFFEE

Guided by Rick James, the farmer for over 25 years, the tour is comprehensive and covers all aspects of coffee farming, from the trees growing in the fields, to the various stages of processing, ending with a coffee tasting at our Coffee House.

After the tour guests are welcome to relax on the expansive deck overlooking picturesque country views and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and slice of homemade cake. There is also a farm shop selling our coffee, souvenirs and other coffee related products.

Kindly note as our primary operation is a working farm, visits are strictly by appointment only.
