Morning Glory Cottages is situated on the old family farm Gelykfontein - a well- known Thoroughbred stud farm in the Venterstad/Gariep Dam Districts.
It is a comfortable, 3 bed thatch farmhouse. Big indoor fireplace/bbq for winter evenings. There are 2 barns, 1 for storing bales and the other for tools and building/fixing implements on farm.
Avocado Cottage was originally a 100-hectare plot farmed by the owner’s mother, Euodia (the first female farmer in the area) and since then it has expanded by another 300 hectares.
